On point and without surprises

Visually, the Xiaomi 15s Pro is inconspicuous, but undeniably elegant and high-quality. Thin display edges and a tidy back characterise the smartphone's appearance. A new competitor on the market

With the XRing 01 ARM processor, Xiaomi is officially entering the market that is currently dominated by the Snapdragon, Tensor and Dimensity processor series in the Android operating system sector. The Chinese manufacturer's new flagship CPU also relies on the 3 nm manufacturing process, but offers 10 cores instead of 8. With a clock frequency of up to 3.9 GHz and energy-efficient Cortex-A520 cores, the centrepiece promises outstanding performance with low energy consumption. The CPU is complemented by an Immortalis G925 GPU, LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 ROM.

Triple 50 MP camera

Xiaomi remains true to its cooperation with Leica and has also equipped the current model with three high-quality cameras on the back of the case. A 50 megapixel Lighthunter 900 sensor with f/1.44 aperture and OIS performs amazingly in everyday use. Sophisticated panoramic shots are taken with a 50 megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture over a shooting angle of 115 degrees. The telephoto lens also offers a resolution of 50 megapixels, is equipped with an f/2.5 aperture and OIS and allows macro shots from a distance of 30 cm. On the front, however, a 32 megapixel camera has been installed.

2K LTPO Panel

Like the manufacturer's other flagships, the Xiaomi 15s Pro offers a high-resolution display that utilises both LTPO and AMOLED technology. The result: digital content is displayed extremely sharply with a resolution of 3200 x 1400 pixels and very brightly thanks to 3200 nits. The 6.73-inch panel supports dynamic refresh rates of up to 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz. The display is familiar with the HDR10+, HDR Vivid and Dolby Vision standards. Naturally, 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space is covered.

Latest battery generation

The battery technology of the Xiaomi 15s Pro is also state of the art. An impressive 6100 mAh battery capacity has been successfully installed in the small casing. It can be charged either via USB C cable or wirelessly. The former is supported with up to 90W. Wireless charging, on the other hand, can be carried out with up to 50W. In combination with the manufacturer's energy-efficient CPU generation and the LTPO panel, even hardcore users can manage a whole day without intermediate charging.

What else is on offer?

The Xiaomi 15s Pro is fully equipped. Data transfer via cable is possible at up to 10 Gbit/s thanks to USB C 3.2 Gen 2. The network connection is also high-speed thanks to WiFi 7 and dual 5G support. Of course, an NFC chip for contactless payment is also included. Smartwatches and wireless headphones are connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth 5.4.
