Like its predecessors, Xiaomi's design features a punch hole on the front and a round camera array on the back with Leica branding. Leica Quad camera

As in previous years, Xiaomi is once again setting standards in terms of camera quality with its Ultra model. The Leica Quad camera is led by a 50 megapixel Sony LYT-900 sensor with a size of 1 inch. A special feature is the variable aperture that allows a continuous opening from f/1.63 to f/4.0 and is stabilized by an OIS. A 50 megapixel Sony IMX858 sensor is used as a telephoto, ultra-wide-angle and macro sensor. A 32 megapixel sensor has been installed on the front and promises selfies of outstanding quality.

LTPO AMOLED Display with 120 Hz

Xiaomi also uses only the best hardware for the display. A 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels reproduces digital content in the best possible quality. The panel supports an incredible 300 nits and supports HDR10+. Thanks to LTPO technology, the refresh rate can be dynamically adjusted from 1 - 120 Hz. The color reproduction is also at a high level: 100% of the DCI-P3 color space is covered.

It goes without saying that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra only uses the fastest components. So it is hardly surprising that the manufacturer from China has opted for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Qualcomm Octa Core CPU clocks at up to 3.30 GHz and features an Adreno GPU. Thanks to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM, even demanding apps and mobile games are handled effortlessly. The internal memory of 1024 GB is large enough for a large number of apps, photos, videos and other files. The UF 4.0 technology promises high data throughput rates, as does the USB C 3.2 port.

Even bigger battery

The size of the internal power source has increased in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra compared to its predecessor. A 5300 mAh battery has now been installed in the smallest possible space, which can significantly exceed the already very long battery life of last year's model. Charging is possible via USB C with up to 90W. Alternatively, the device can be charged via Wireless Charge with up to 80W. Regardless of which option is preferred, the battery will be sufficiently charged for several hours of use within a few minutes.
